Transgender Female High School Athlete Wins Girls’ State Wrestling Title for Second Time...
I do not know for a fact the following is true. However, since it is published in the New York Post I shall assume that it is.
I get the transgender thing, which is, denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity does not correspond with the gender assigned to them at birth.
Beggs is right, the state of Texas wrong. Here is why.
Simply put Beggs, through artificial means is transitioning from a female to the physiological state more resembling that of a male. Because of this transition Beggs has a distinct advantage over the other females in the weight class she/he is competing in.
Beggs understands this. Texas is foolishly forcing Beggs to compete in the female division which results in females competing against Beggs being unfairly disadvantaged as it stacks the deck against them.
If Beggs were to compete in the male division in his weight class he may very well not win championships, having not yet completed the full transition to a male's muscular physiology. This however is a fair situation as Beggs is the one who made the decision to transition to a physiological state more in line with male muscular physiology and development.

What I don't get is THIS:
CYPRESS, Texas — For the second year in a row, a transgender wrestler has won the Texas girls’ Class 6A 110-pound division.
Mack Beggs, an 18-year-old senior from Euless Trinity High School near Dallas, entered the tournament in Cypress outside of Houston with an undefeated record. He beat Chelsea Sanchez — who he beat for the title in 2017 — in the final match Saturday.
Video posted online showed a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd following Beggs’ win.
Beggs is in the process of transitioning from female to male and taking a low-dose of testosterone.
It was his steroid therapy treatments while wrestling girls that stirred a fierce debate about competitive fairness and transgender rights last season. It’s been a lot quieter since last year when his march to a state championship was dogged by a last-minute lawsuit that tried to stop him.
Beggs had asked to wrestle in the boys’ division, but the rules for Texas public high schools require athletes to compete under the gender on their birth certificate.
Beggs entered the state tournament with a 32-0 record, beating three female wrestlers on his way to the championship.
Beggs is right, the state of Texas wrong. Here is why.
Generally, the muscles of men and women are the same and will perform and respond in a similar manner. However, men can develop more muscle mass than women. The activities of both sexes differ which is why muscle group development will change depending on your current exercise program and lifestyle.
According to a 2004 study published in American Physiology Society, the skeletal muscles of men are faster and render higher maximum output compared to women’s skeletal muscles. However, women have the advantage of recovering faster and being more fatigue-resistant. Estrogen-B seems to have an effect in muscle contractile speed, making men more efficient in producing power and women more efficient in healing. Men also release testosterone which is very important in muscle-building. It sufficiently explains why men develop bigger muscles than women.
The muscle tissues of men and women are the same, but fibers among individuals can differ depending on genetics and their regular activities. There are three main types of muscle fibers namely Type I fibers, Type IIa fibers and Type IIb fibers. These are also called slow twitch fibers and fast twitch fibers according to an article published in FASEB Journal. Slow twitch fibers are important for endurance and conditioning while fast twitch fibers are important for power. Men usually have more fast twitch muscle fibers compared to women which is why men are stronger and women are more fatigue-resistant.

Congratulations to the Stoneman Douglas High School Hockey Team!
ReplyDeleteThey won the Florida State Hockey Championship after being last seed and just a few days after the massacre at their school.
They go on to the national championships in Plymouth Minnesota.
I'll be rooting for them to win the national championship!
That is interesting Anonymous, but, what does it have to do with this post?
DeleteLes, probably like you, I suspect an ulterior motive from any Anonymous who shows up. After all, when was the last time one of them NOT TOM/Paul/Steve/Mystere/FreeReeke, etc etc?
DeleteHilarious - like you have a reputation for sticking to your posts subjects - NOT!
DeleteWOW, you can find any ridiculous reason to shit on good news.
My last response to you.
DeleteI did NOT shit on your good news. I said it was interesting but has nothing to do with this post topic.
Perhaps your reading comprehension is stunted?
RN, that was posted at my blog as well.
ReplyDeleteI have my idea who it likely is. But really, I don't give a F who it is as I'm in charge. I can delete at will.

DeleteHe always loses every match of mental wrestling.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, (in this case likely TOM, or Luke, or Paul), my responses to other bloggers in reply to them attacking me have not a goddamn thing to do with this post. Therefore, they were deleted, as will ALL such attempts by you to post off topic irrelevant subject matter on this OR ANY one of this weblogs threads. PERIOD!!

ReplyDeleteOff topic, you're otta here.
DeleteAt the Olympics slopes, Lindsey Vonn was a bust at the Downhill and Slalom Olympics.
ReplyDeleteLindsey Vonn was considered to be the best female Alpine skier ever, primed for another gold medal in the downhill and poised to win another medal in the Super-G. However, he will go home with a measly bronze medal and not the Gold that she has wished for. After all she is an American, and I usually root for all American’s to win the Gold, but in her case, I had mixed thoughts...
I'm sure you'll sort em out.

DeleteLes...
ReplyDeleteI've often wondered how all of this shakes out in regards to sports. Here's a story of Summer Olympian Caster Semenya.
Yes, interesting. There are simply some super athletes, both male and female. It their athletic prowess is all natural, not enhanced by artificial means by hormone manipulation techniques. I don't know how you can handle that. I have some ideas but they would highly controversial.
DeleteMiss Shaw writes.....
ReplyDelete“Cadet Bone Spure who didn't have the courage to fight in Vietnam like John Kerry and Robert Mueller, two sons of wealthy fathers did, bragged about how he, unarmed, would confront a shooter with an AR-15. “
Ms Shaw simply and conveniently forgo to mention Bill Clinton’s Running off to Canada at that time!
Your point is? Shaw's is valid, on the post it was found. But, your comment is totally irrelevant to this post. We advise to take your irrelevant blathers to WYD or another righty tighty weblog.
DeleteRN... why even entertain off topic comments? This is a post not about politics perse, but about trangenderism as it relates to sports.
ReplyDeleteAs you rightly point out, there are other blogs where the crazed unhinged among us can post all the "false facts", off topic blather and foul language they want.
