Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton has recently admitted that President Obama's position on Iran is flawed and and essentially a failure. Specifically the Secretary was speaking to the nuclear threat, however there is another side to the Iranian story. The administration's policy of extending the "olive branch" if you will to the extremist and oppressive Islamic Republic of Iran is befuddling. There is a significantly large segment of the Iranian population that is opposed to it's misguided leadership and would welcome the support of a true Republic such as the United States supporting their efforts to change their government. The world at risk, and nobody with any real authority is doing anything about it. The useless toothless United Nations will no doubt, as usual , do nothing. The United States under the fearless Barrack Hussein Obama  administration will dither, as is it's custom, and eventually along with the western allies (whomever they may be) will call for useless sanctions. And the world at large will continue to remain at increasing at risk. And here we have it, from the mouth of our nefarious Leader on the nuclear threat posed by Iran. Iran has been given two weeks to allow inspections at  their "just uncovered"  uranium refinery plant. Thats right, he made the statement in a speech Thursday following a meeting with the P5 + 1, a coalition of nations apparently working on a dipomatic solution. Some of his tough words;   "In pursuit of that goal, today's meeting was a constructive beginning, but it must be followed with constructive action by the Iranian government" , and further  "We're not interested in talking for the sake of talking.  Wow, feel the muscle flex? As we face the nuclear threat from Iran, and make no mistake; it is a nuclear threat, President Obama will do well to heed the words of a truly great leader, President Ronald Reagan. Far to many still believe today dealing with evil through diplomacy and appeasement will maintain the peace. Nothing could be further from reality, and such a belief is dangerous. Rational minds believe  the only justification for the use of force is in self defense. A rational mind also knows that when dealing with evil, you must maintain a position of strength, and most importantly not be deterred from using it when it becomes necessary.  Such is the current situation with respect to Iran. Let us hope President Obama acts like the leader of the free world should act.
