For the most part it has become an organization driven by ideology and a growing hatred for the west and its concept of the rule of law. The UN Commission on the Status of Women is expected to condemn Israel for its part in the degrading conditions of Palestinian women. Yet the politically motivated Commission ignores the near complete lack of women's rights in many, if not most Muslim countries. Glaringly they ignore the brutal treatment of Syrian women in the continuing crises in that country.
