Our Time Of Discontent
Today is Rational Nations USA's Saturday edition post at Conservative Firestorm. As some of my readership may not get the opportunity to visit Conservative Firestorm here are excerpts from todays edition. With the creation of our republic the founders, men of reason and enlightened thought, placed the rights of the individual above any rights held by the state. That is to say beyond what limited power the government needed to insure the existence of a civil society. The Constitution expressly states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people", Bill of Rights, Article X.
