Dr. Laura is Giving Up Radio
By: Les Carpenter III Rational Nation USA Talk show host Dr. Laura Schlesinger has announced her decision not to continue in radio when her current contract expires. After thirty years in radio the outspoken host has decided to give it up after her N word remarks last week caused somewhat of a firestorm. Her appearance on the Larry King Live Show August 18th in which she expressed regret and again apologized for here remarks was indeed unfortunate. Response to her remarks from the left last week was almost immediate and had many salivating over the opportunity to attack the conservative talker. Perhaps Dr. Laura's remarks a bit over the top. However, considering them in the context in which she used the N word to make a point to a caller the response by the left was grossly overdone. Dr. Laura ought to have stood her ground and met the attack on her character head on. . The Left Coast Rebel ...
