Utah, Think Twice Before Voting for Liljenquist...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny Rick Santorum, or Mr. Frothy as I like to refer to him has just announced his endorsement of Dan Liljenquist (R) in his primary contest against Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah. The rationale Santorum sites for his endorsement is that Liljenquist is the more conservative of the two. I find Santorum's rationale just a bit interesting as Mr. Santorum's own voting record in the United States Senate was by far from conservative. I suspect Santorum's endorsement was motivated by something other than Mr. Liljenquist's alleged yet demonstrably phoney conservative principles. Could it be Mr. Frothy is more interested in Mr. Liljenquist's views on religion and the separation of church and state? I mean, given Santorum's well known positions on those issues. Just wondering how a non fiscal conservative can endorse another essentially non fiscal conservarive on the basis of the candidate being conservative . ...
