Historically presidential candidates move towards the center after they are elected. It appears by his recent actions that President Obama is following historical patterns. President Obama, given the debt crises and the impending potential of the U.S. defaulting on it's obligations, is signalling a willingness to reach a compromise that goes well beyond what he and his party were initially inclined to do. This is, without a doubt, a positive development. While not what many conservatives would like to see in full, the President's willingness to move to center right on the issue of spending cuts and the debt ceiling is deserving of respect, as well as serious consideration. America has just been given a glimpse into the future as crafted by President Barrack Husein Obama if you will. And the future looks VERY bleak. First,  let me make it perfectly clear that the big government, liberal spending, so called conservative GWB must share a portion of the blame for our countries dismal and alarming fiscal mess. Lets be honest with ourselves, he started the deficit spending ball rolling and rolled it right into the lap of President Obama. I  am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of  William Jefferson Clinton. However we should remember that he left ofice with a budget surplus. One can argue the merits, or lack thereof, as to how he got us there. The bottom line is he did. Given we all recognize these historical facts it is time we move on.
