Republicans Edge Ahead of Democrats in Poll of Likely 2010 Voters
A recent Gallup poll indicates a resurgence of the GOP in the 2010 congressional elections. While this might seem great news, one must ask themselves an obvious question , which is this; does the mere GOP label indicate a belief in the values this nation was founded on, or does it simply indicate slower growth of the socialist/statist journey this nation has been on since Theodore Roosevelt and his Republican Progressive movement? If you will, please forgive this independent minded, radical conservative in the spirit of Thomas Paine, anti government libertarian, free market capitalist, fierce individualist, self sufficient, and arrogant liberty loving individual his skepticism. For he has been on this earth long enough to realize that polls in essence mean little to nothing. They are just an indicator of the current mood.
