The Imperial Presidency
It has been said that all politics are local. The concept makes a great deal of sense, and our Imperial President would do well to learn the simple concept. With the senate seat held by the late and not so great Senator Kennedy vacant , the socialist/statist at the federal level are pushing to get a suitable replacement. One that will of course represent the views of the Imperial President. The urgency is such that the highest level of government, the Imperial President, has found it necessary to intervene. Since filling a vacant seat in the senate is a state issue why is the Imperial President weighing in? One guess. If you guessed muscle and brute force you are right.
