Ayn Rand's Epic Novel Atlas Shrugged Out In Theaters April 5th

by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Birthplace of Independent Conservatism Ayn Rand, the 20th century author, playwright, philosopher, and advocate for individualism, laissez faire capitalism, and a true life sustaining value system is now more relevant than ever. In this time of unrestrained budget deficits and a steadily rising national debt, burdensome and damaging regulatory controls, an anti business and anti growth mentality, crony capitalism and government subsidies for businesses, a rising tide of altruism, unjustified and unethical military interventions into sovereign states that pose no threat to our national security... America needs more than ever a philosophy and ethics to guide her. Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism, provides just such a foundation. Her works are consistent, non contradictory, rational, and if read with a truly open mind revealing as well as life changing. A Vision Of What Could Be

By: Les Carpenter III Rational Nation USA The progressive collectivists and the neocons who sell the idea of sacrifice and anti morality would do well to consider the content of the following video. During these times of economic crises, growing civil unrest and racial tension, all fueled by the progressive collectivist credo the time for the individual to stand and take action of their own rational mind, and on their own behalf,  has arrived. So, even though it is not Rand Monday, the urge to post was so great the temptation could not be resisted. Call it a special Ayn Rand Friday. It is hoped you enjoy these simple, yet profound words of wisdom.

The Death of Initiative and Productive Achievement

The sighing of  the once great economic engine is heard throughout the land. As the horses of productivity and the genius of creative capacity are ever taxed, and further burdened by the albatross that is the state, they plod on. Always confident, always struggling to support the dream. The belief that hard work, perserverance, and the right to trade freely will foster the realization of the dream. That unique and envied dream. The American Dream. In the beginning there was promise. The promise of a republic founded on the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With this promise came the belief that through hard work and ethical behavior the republic would be kept. And so for over a century the creative, and those willing to accept risk, the risk of losing everything, resulted in an economic expansion never witnessed before in the annals of human history. The country became the most productive in the world, created the...
