From none other than The Hill House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saw her net worth rise 62 percent last year, cementing her status as one of the wealthiest members of Congress. Pelosi was worth at least $35.2 million in the 2010 calendar year, according to a financial disclosure report released Wednesday. I can at least retain a semblance of the power I once had and so crave! Power is a hard thing to give up for some. For those of Pelosi's power hungry ilk it is damn near  impossible. Certainly  the minority whip's position does not afford the dictatorial powers this women assumed as Speaker of the House. But it would certainly give her the control and power she craves over her fellow Democrats in the new Congress. She no doubt is operating under the illusion the Dems will regain control of the House in 2012 and she will one again be able to force her liberal progressive agenda down the throats of the American people. There is however just one small sticking point for this power hungry Madame. Moderate members of her own party are lining up against her bid for the minority whip. Seems there...

Isn't Madame Pelosi just wonderful? Just imagine the array of organizations supporting ObamaCare. Perhaps a bit of arm twisting and sweet deals were cut for this array. And how articulate Madame is. Watch for the trip over the tongue. Their members (of the One Ring To Rule Them All gang) are committed to ramming this abomination of a bill down our throats. It is obvious  the 55% of the nation that doesn't want this bill doesn't count. Beware come 2010. Many of you sorry excuses for representatives will be unemployed. Thankfully..

It is increasingly obvious the democratic party will use any measure to pass ObamaCare, even given the majority of the American people do not want the bill shoved down their throats. President Obama and the democratic leadership have been twisting arms and working deals in their attempt to get enough democratic lawmakers on board to pass this sorry bill. Now Madame Pelosi is considering another questionable move to ram ObamaCare through the house and at the same time give congressmen cover. Actually she is considering three options but favors the option that will provide the most political cover for her associates in congress. One option involves vote on the Senate health care bill which would then be followed by a vote on a reconciliation package. Pelosi has stated that no one wants to vote on the Senate bill. As we consider nationalized health care let us consider the following video segment. Yes, this is a piece from a Rand book, We the Living, and yes, it is from a 1942 movie. But one should ask themselves this question. Why would an intelligent and rational women write such a book about the horrors of socialist/statist run health care if it had not been personally experienced or observed. Rational Nation USA leaves to each individual the responsibility to answer that haunting question for themselves. The choice remains ours as RN USA writes this. Every so often you come across news that really isn't news. At least in the sense it is exactly what you have come to expect. However, when the individual that is the subject of the news piece happens to show such audacity that it actually has you frothing at the mouth, you sometimes simply must cover it and "get some stuff off your chest."
