With President Obama's approval ratings suffering, partially the result of a horrific ACA roll out, the fact that "if you like plan you can keep your plan you can keep your plan", and "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" turning out not to be a totally accurate statement, concern with the President's, and his parties handling of foreign affairs it is evident the President has entered defense mode. His statement (the headline quote) may very well be as accurate as it gets.
