Conservative Bloggers (and free speech) Under Attack From the Left...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny Recent attempts by presumably {nefarious} left wingers to silence conservative thought/views have allegedly turned criminal. Because of the criminal nature of their activities it is proper for federal law enforcement to investigate these activities and punish violators appropriately under the law. The right to free political speech is guaranteed under our Constitution (the Bill of Rights), while there exists no right to suppress any political viewpoint. I am fully aware this freedom is specific to the citizen's right to express dissenting political opinion against their government , equally, if not more important is that the constitution prevents the government from suppressing dissenting views. In the current volatile environment, with some progressives allegedly engaging in criminal activity to silence conservative thought every liberty minded American, be they liberal or conservative must renounce such behavior...
