Today I still stand solidly behind the article and its premise. However, in witnessing the present day "right" and its continuing and obvious trend towards the perversion of our Nation's roots, which is to say "Classical Liberalism" and the Constitution, which of course was written by "classical liberals", primarily James Madison, I cannot help but to throw the same blanket criticism over current so called conservatives. To blame one political party or philosophy exclusively for our present national problems is, to say the very least foolish.
