Indeed they were not only liberal in their thinking they were in fact extremely revolutionary in pursuit of their vision . Conservatism is about preserving the classical liberal principles of our founders while at the same time recognizing and acknowledging that as the world changes, as knowledge grows exponentially, as we become increasingly global and thus more interdependent, we remain ready and willing to adapt to modern realities.
