Assuming the Senate remains in democratic control of course, which it no doubt will. On the other hand if Mittens is elected the chances of actually getting anything done increases. Why? Simply because Romney, governing in a overwhelming democratic state ( MA ) had to take a bipartisanship stance. Everything else aside, Romney knows how to work across the partisan aisle.
