What's wrong TOM? Deleted your vile comment eh? That's good, anyone paying attention to your daily garbage and lies already knows all about you anyway.
I'm guessing Luke or Luke signed in with one of his TOM accounts did not drop in to wish anyone a Merry Christmas? I think he makes it clear by his behavior that it is the same person. I mean, how unlikely that another "TOM" (all caps) would decide he also had the same grudge against RN and decide to relentlessly troll this blog? I don't get what the point is. Anyway, "Merry Christmas" as well as another full year closer to death for me tomorrow.
On this, the 25th day of December 2016 we wish ALL the best the season has to offer. And so we say Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Regardless of where one live on this globe we all call home, regardless of our job, religious affiliation, political leanings, sexual orientation, or anything else one may think of we are, or at least ought to be, brothers and sisters in our one common attribute, We're All Humans.
he Dalai Lama reminds us:
When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others.
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.
Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.
We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.
The important thing is that men should have a purpose in life. It should be something useful, something good.
We hope the incoming president reflects on and understands the simple and profound truths the Dalai Lama expresses in such simplicity.
The Dalai Lama would kinda be the anti Ayn Rand, don't you think? BTW, as per the NY IntelligencerTrump described himself as an Ayn Rand fan. He said of her novel The Fountainhead, "It relates to business (and) beauty (and) life and inner emotions. That book relates to ... everything". He identified with Howard Roark, the novel's idealistic protagonist who designs skyscrapers and rages against the establishment.
Apparently many do not understand the good elements in Rand's philosophy, particularly the concept of rational self interest. That's fine as everyone has their own views and opinions. Hopefully they're based on reading, rational thought, and reflection leading to understanding.
Yeah I quickly read the Trump is the "New King" brouhaha. Simply incredible!
TOM/Steve/Luke, as we noted earlier none of your vile comments, F bombs, or other totally un-Christian blathering will be posted. As they are deleted unread enjoy your mental masturbation.
Merry Christmas Les, Shaw, Dave, Jerry, BB, dmarks, Dervish and all other visitors to this blog of merry heart and good faith! I've been playing so much Christmas music at church, I've just about had it. Just woke up from a sweet nap. The sun is shining bright after the rain. Kids are coming over for Christmas Dinner. Ham, Mac n Cheese, Banana Nut Bread, Hot Chocolate, Goodies all around.
Be of good cheer and have a strong and successful 2017.
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and Seasons Greetings from the Leeward Islands. Yesterday, Saint Lucia. Today Barbados. Tomorrow Saint Kitts. An Inkredible getaway.
As you know I'm not a religious guy in the conventional/classical sense. But there is something to be said for the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS, meaning how Christ the man taught his followers to live and treat others.
On a different note. I read about your medical issue sometime ago on another weblog. I don't know if you ever check your weblogs anymore but I left a comment there.
Our thoughts are with you Jersey and we're sure you'll defeat your adbersary. We are sending good vibes your way.

"Buddhanature is the innate primordial freedom of the mind, which is naturally imbued with wisdom, compassion, power, and bliss." Karl Brunnholzl Capitalism is, or is soon to become a dying economic practice (system). The reasons are certainly many, complex, and interconnected. But the primary reason is that capitalism, particularly in the USA, has become entirely focused on increased productivity to maximize profits and increase shareholder's stake, ie increase the wealth of individual shareholders. Which means in truth, as well as in straight talk, to insure that the real (and obscene) wealth is funneled to and concentrated in the top 1 or 2 percent of the nation. When self interest becomes the driving force behind every decision, and selfishness essentially becomes a "virtue" as it is with folks like Trump, then the footing on which a society stands on begins to crumble. Which is precisely the situation America is finding itself in today. In these pr

( Reuters ) - Global leaders on Saturday arranged a round of emergency calls to discuss the twin debt crises in Europe and the United States that are causing turmoil in financial markets . After a week that saw $2.5 trillion wiped off global stock markets, they are under pressure to show political leadership and reassure markets that Western governments have both the will and ability to reduce their huge and growing public debt loads. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who chairs the G7/G20 group of leading economies, conferred with Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron ahead of a call planned for this weekend by G7 finance ministers and central bankers. "They discussed the euro area and the U.S. debt downgrade. Both agreed the importance of working together, monitoring the situation closely
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Lib erty -vs- Tyr anny CBS - Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up." Nonetheless, in the eight months since the attacks, this is the most sweeping and detailed discussion by key players of what might have been done differently. "We're portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots," said one Obama administration official who was part
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Lib erty -vs- Tyra nny The April job reports are out. The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%. But the report contained worrisome signs that President Obama’s health care reform law is hurting full-time, high-wage employment. While the American economy added 293,000 jobs last month, according to the separate household survey, the number of persons employed part time for economic reasons — “involuntar
