What's wrong TOM? Deleted your vile comment eh? That's good, anyone paying attention to your daily garbage and lies already knows all about you anyway.
I'm guessing Luke or Luke signed in with one of his TOM accounts did not drop in to wish anyone a Merry Christmas? I think he makes it clear by his behavior that it is the same person. I mean, how unlikely that another "TOM" (all caps) would decide he also had the same grudge against RN and decide to relentlessly troll this blog? I don't get what the point is. Anyway, "Merry Christmas" as well as another full year closer to death for me tomorrow.
On this, the 25th day of December 2016 we wish ALL the best the season has to offer. And so we say Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Regardless of where one live on this globe we all call home, regardless of our job, religious affiliation, political leanings, sexual orientation, or anything else one may think of we are, or at least ought to be, brothers and sisters in our one common attribute, We're All Humans.
he Dalai Lama reminds us:
When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others.
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.
Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.
We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.
The important thing is that men should have a purpose in life. It should be something useful, something good.
We hope the incoming president reflects on and understands the simple and profound truths the Dalai Lama expresses in such simplicity.
The Dalai Lama would kinda be the anti Ayn Rand, don't you think? BTW, as per the NY IntelligencerTrump described himself as an Ayn Rand fan. He said of her novel The Fountainhead, "It relates to business (and) beauty (and) life and inner emotions. That book relates to ... everything". He identified with Howard Roark, the novel's idealistic protagonist who designs skyscrapers and rages against the establishment.
Apparently many do not understand the good elements in Rand's philosophy, particularly the concept of rational self interest. That's fine as everyone has their own views and opinions. Hopefully they're based on reading, rational thought, and reflection leading to understanding.
Yeah I quickly read the Trump is the "New King" brouhaha. Simply incredible!
TOM/Steve/Luke, as we noted earlier none of your vile comments, F bombs, or other totally un-Christian blathering will be posted. As they are deleted unread enjoy your mental masturbation.
Merry Christmas Les, Shaw, Dave, Jerry, BB, dmarks, Dervish and all other visitors to this blog of merry heart and good faith! I've been playing so much Christmas music at church, I've just about had it. Just woke up from a sweet nap. The sun is shining bright after the rain. Kids are coming over for Christmas Dinner. Ham, Mac n Cheese, Banana Nut Bread, Hot Chocolate, Goodies all around.
Be of good cheer and have a strong and successful 2017.
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and Seasons Greetings from the Leeward Islands. Yesterday, Saint Lucia. Today Barbados. Tomorrow Saint Kitts. An Inkredible getaway.
As you know I'm not a religious guy in the conventional/classical sense. But there is something to be said for the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS, meaning how Christ the man taught his followers to live and treat others.
On a different note. I read about your medical issue sometime ago on another weblog. I don't know if you ever check your weblogs anymore but I left a comment there.
Our thoughts are with you Jersey and we're sure you'll defeat your adbersary. We are sending good vibes your way.
RN USA no longer accepts comments. The information presented is for reflection, contemplation, and for those seeking greater understanding and wisdom. It is for seekers and those with an open mind and heart.

The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States." –Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, 1787 That was then. In an interview with the Daily Times Herald in Carroll, Iowa, state Rep. Dan Muhlbauer said governments should start confiscating semi-automatic rifles and other firearms. Muhlbauer, a Democrat from the western Iowa town of Manilla, is a cattleman and farmer. by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Lib e rty -vs- Tyr a nny I listened to the full Presidential news conference this afternoon. Obama said some things that made sense. Then he made the following remarks that IMNHO told the nation in full agenda with respect to said issue. Having a in depth discussion of race relations might very well be appropriate and a general discussion is something that MOST American's would welcome. Using the Zimmerman verdict ks simply the WRONG event at possibly the right time. However, don't expect the President, the Department of Justice, or the liberal media or ultra liberal populace to understand what this means. If I can find a video of the full and complete news conference it will be posted later. Via: Memeorandum Update : via You Tube. Your views and thoughts are most welcome. Left and or Right leaning...

by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation U SA Purveyor of Truth Is anybody, and I mean ANYBODY in either party really serious about controlling the explosive rate of debt growth we have experienced since the 2008/2009 meltdown? I really think not. Mitch McConnell talking to Chris Wallace about raising the debt ceiling. Below the fold THINK PROGRESS weighs in. Content as expected from a far left publication. Meanwhile, over at CBS and Bob Schieffer's FACE the NATION Ted Cruz chimed in and actually made a bit of sense. Assuming of course he, and anyone else is really concerned with debt control or reduction. BOB SCHIEFFER: Well, now, just a minute. Just a minute. The government is approaching another deadline February 7, when it will run out of money unless Congress agrees to raise the debt ceiling. Will you agree to raise the debt ceiling, or will you demand something in return. SEN. TED CRUZ: Look, of course, we should do something. We shouldn't just write a bl...
May 28, 2020-The Lincoln Project’s latest ad released today shows that U.S. Senate Majority Leader and senior senator from Kentucky, Mitch McConnell, made tens of millions of dollars since he was first elected to office. Meanwhile, Kentucky ranks 40th in job opportunity in the nation, 45th in education, and 43rd in health care. “I’m a conservative lawyer of the type that McConnell has prided himself for putting on the bench. But precisely because I’m a conservative lawyer, I believe most fundamentally in the Constitution and the rule of law,” said Lincoln Project co-Founder George Conway. “When he fixed the impeachment trial by blocking evidence of Trump’s high crimes and misdemeanors, McConnell violated and abased the solemn oaths he took as a United States Senator. Add in the fact that, as our ad shows, he’s managed to do much better for himself than for the people of Kentucky, and it becomes a no-brainer: McConnell has to go.” It is most critically important that we DUMP TRU...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny Mr. Governor Romney... Neither I or most Americans really care a whole lot about how much money you have made during your career. Hell, most of us wish we had the business acumen, savvy, and drive to have accomplished the same for ourselves and our families. We really do understand that you did build your business yourself. We also understand that at times in your growth trajectory in building your business and becoming a multimillionaire that you enlisted the advice and counsel of knowledgeable people to advise you. Hell, even a small time manager like myself understands we achieved our own success through hard work and dedication. But we did have advisers and support teams that actually made sure we didn't, well, you know, F-up. As I always said, and firmly believe... I was only as good as my people. People whose performance by the way I was also responsible for. Maybe Mr. Obama, and even you Mr. Romney might be ...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth Following last nights rather mundane and short on specifics SOTU by President Obama I started thinking about the future and if there is anyone in the current ranks of the GOP or the Libertarian Party who could possibly be elected to the presidency in 2016. Frankly given the crop of malcontents and loonies(Christie doesn't fall into that group but he has shot himself in the big toe) that seem to be getting attention in the GOP it appears unlikely. Tonight while browsing the net the following article popped up and given the headline was along my line of thinking last it was a must read. Got me thinking again and if the GOP can find the intelligence to act along the lines of thought presented in the article there may just be a real race in 2016 rather than a shoo in for the democrats. NationalJournal - For a party that's accustomed to nominating the next-in-line presidential candidate, 2016 promises to be a very un...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation U S A Lib e rty -vs- Tyr a nny Interesting possibility from the NEW REPUBLIC . This, apparently, is how diplomacy happens these days: Someone makes an off-hand remark at a press conference and triggers an international chain reaction that turns an already chaotic and complex situation completely on its head, and gives everyone a sense that, perhaps, this is the light at the end of the indecision tunnel. Speaking in London next to British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Monday, Secretary of State John Kerry said that perhaps the military strike around which the administration has been painfully circling for weeks could be avoided if Bashar al-Assad can "turn over every single bit of his chemical weapons to the international community in the next week. Turn it over, all of it, without delay, and allow a full and total accounting for that.” The fact that Kerry immediately followed with, “But he isn’t about to do it, and it can’t be don...

by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Lib erty -vs- Tyr anny President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton take part in the Transfer of Remains Ceremony marking the return to the United States of the remains of the four Americans killed in Benghazi, Libya. Molly Riley/DPA/Zuma It ain't a cover up but... Mother Jones - The latest revelations about the Benghazi talking points—as opposed to what actually happened at the US diplomatic facility at Benghazi , where four Americans died—do not back up Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham's hyperbolic and absurd claim that the Benghazi controversy is Obama's Watergate. But neither are they nothing. As ABC News reported on Friday morning, the most discussed talking points in US diplomatic history were revised multiple times before being passed to UN Ambassador Susan Rice prior to her appearances last September on Sunday talk shows.
