Forgive me if you disagree with my analysis but it really matters not which party is in power. The only demonstrable difference is the rapidity the nation will realize total and complete socialism/fascism. As Ayn Rand so accurately pointed out, and I paraphrase... Thereby pushing the envelope on the never ending growth of their beloved Leviathan. Congress is about to adjourn for the The Fourth of July recess without having passed a bill to extend underemployment benefits. While the Dem's have claimed the Republicans as unsympathetic to the plight of the long term unemployed they have rejected several compromise offers by the GOP that would gain it's support. Namely that at least a part of bill be paid for. Democrats are going to hold out and will use this as a political lie in a sad attempt to gain political ca;ital. For a Change Conservatives and Liberals Coming Together...

Reasoned and reasonable liberals and conservatives in a bi-partisan fashion have sent a strong and constitutionally correct signal to the President. Perhaps most rewarding for me is that these conservatives are finally acting like conservatives ought to be acting every time it comes to ordering military action against another sovereign nation. With extreme skepticism and caution. Liberals, to their great credit are "bucking" their party leader. Good news from both sides of the aisle. Perhaps the ultimate outcome will be as the President seems to favor.
