      We can't escape the fact we have a volatile and inept "man" at the helm of our federal government. Thus we have a government in near constant turmoil. But, for me this year, regardless of the Mueller investigation or its results, will be one of concentrated efforts to shut out the noise and the insanity of the tRump era and focus on truly important things. tRump is destined to become a rather inconsequential and miniscule orange turd anyway in the very near future.

      Turning away from the 24/7 shit storm that has been the tRump presidency is my 2019 resolution. For focusing on Trump too much destroys any sense of peace and joy.

An Open Letter to My Father and Mentor

The following is a repost of an open letter I wrote five months ago explaining my rationale for defining myself as a " true independent conservative ."  Out of this letter came my  Conservative Manifesto . Since its inception on June 29th of 2009  this site has been a strong advocate  for limited  responsib le government, true liberty, and fiscally sound economic policy . Mrs. Rational and I took our dynamo back home to Mom and Dad yesterday as he will be going with them to Myrtle Beach Friday for two weeks. Yes, he is one lucky, and very appreciative dynamo. His family is hard working and as a result he is able to enjoy some of the fruits of their labor. With continued perseverance, and maybe a bit of luck this dynamo will be as educated and forward thinking as his supportive family.
