This installment of the series hits close to home. Could it be possible we are approaching the next dark age of mankind? One has to admit, at least in this writers opinion, it very well could be possible. Especially given the growing irrationality in our affairs. I refer both to the lack of principals in the political and governmental actions of our nation and those of the rest of the world.

    Trade offs in life are inevitable: to go along with the Zeitgeist, or to become an activist. These are the two extremes, and very few of us fit either architecture.

    We forfeit input into our direction if we sit idly by, and possibly risk everything by becoming a lightning rod. Ah, trade offs, the stuff of life.
