Andrew Coumo Announces Run For NY State Governor

Attorney General  Andrew Coumo has just announced his candidacy for the Governorship of New York State. A progressive from a very liberal progressive state he is likely, if elected, to play a major role in not only New York politics but national politics as well.

The video of him announcing his candidacy is boiler plate progressivism we have all heard before. Other than his statements with regards to the large banking firms and Wall Street Tycoons it is just an add for more and bigger government, his reference to the Declaration of Independence aside.

An Open Letter to My Father and Mentor

The following is a repost of an open letter I wrote five months ago explaining my rationale for defining myself as a " true independent conservative ."  Out of this letter came my  Conservative Manifesto . We have some Americans in our population who have difficulty speaking a coherent sentence. We have many who cannot construct a complete and proper sentence. Yet we find the time and the money to educate youth in Arabic and Arabic culture. Mind you this is a Federal Grant program and limited to only five select school districts. At least for now. At a cost of 1.3 millions dollars students on these select district will be required,  you heard {read} right, required as mandatory part of their curriculum to learn Arabic.
