Andrew Coumo Announces Run For NY State Governor

Attorney General  Andrew Coumo has just announced his candidacy for the Governorship of New York State. A progressive from a very liberal progressive state he is likely, if elected, to play a major role in not only New York politics but national politics as well.

The video of him announcing his candidacy is boiler plate progressivism we have all heard before. Other than his statements with regards to the large banking firms and Wall Street Tycoons it is just an add for more and bigger government, his reference to the Declaration of Independence aside.

When the story first broke this classical liberal with libertarian leanings accepted, based on the early news reports, that George Zimmerman as guilty of a horrendous and unforgivable crime. However,as more information surfaced I began to question the veracity of the liberal contention that Zimmerman had in reality committed an act of first degree murder (my initial conclusion). Given time, and the proper reflection after new information (and opinions based on this information) surfaced it seemed, at least to this writer anyway, to step back and chill just a bit. I am laughing my proverbial arse off. After spending a fair amount of time on left,  or perhaps they would prefer the tag progressive leaning  blogs, reading the constant belittling, name calling, insulting and often vulgar characterizations of almost  anything they disagree with, which of course is everything conservative , I am not surprised to learn of a Anti Tea Party movement. Before going any further however I must be fair and balanced. There are a few lefties whose views and opinions are deserving of consideration and I would be amongst the first to advise everyone, including conservatives, to do so.
