OA or Open Awareness...



Open Awareness (OA) is an expansive perception that promotes a resourceful state and the following qualities:


  • Introspection – metacognitive awareness in which we can mindfully observe mental activities, emotions and somatic experience.
  • Outrospection – heightened awareness of others and the ways that we relate to them, which cultivates empathy and compassion.
  • Envirospection – broad awareness of the space around us which connects us to everything in the environment and the cosmos.

When the story first broke this classical liberal with libertarian leanings accepted, based on the early news reports, that George Zimmerman as guilty of a horrendous and unforgivable crime. However,as more information surfaced I began to question the veracity of the liberal contention that Zimmerman had in reality committed an act of first degree murder (my initial conclusion). After spending a fair amount of time on left,  or perhaps they would prefer the tag progressive leaning  blogs, reading the constant belittling, name calling, insulting and often vulgar characterizations of almost  anything they disagree with, which of course is everything conservative , I am not surprised to learn of a Anti Tea Party movement. Before going any further however I must be fair and balanced.
