by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny The race is close, very close, with the momentum shifting to Romney. However, my take is the shift, as significant as it has been, came too late and too little. Progressives no doubt are biting their nails because as much as they prefer not to acknowledge it, this one is a real cliff hanger. Reminiscent of 2000. It is true if Obama loses this one progressives throughout the land will be wailing and gnashing their teeth. For them it will be a great undoing of their greatest hopes and dreams. Romney noted that he wants another neandercon on the Court. Which would make it
ReplyDeletean astounding 7-2 for the rest of our lives. He said the court has been too
liberal for decades. What about the SCOTUS decision that gave Bush2 the presidency
even though he lost the popular? The GOPers insist on rigid rules and high morals
from their opponents, while making up their own rules. Blatantly hypocritical,
disgustingly immoral and probably illegal rules at that. Bananna Republic-
the United States of Trump. Lincoln and Eisenhower must be gagging. Where is the
Republican Teddy Roosevelt, who stepped up, quit the party and started the
Progressive Party?
The GOP is nothing but a party of crooks and hypocrites. The only thing that the party is focused on is power. That which enhances THEIR power and plays directly to party interests and to hell with what's right or good for the country at large. Which BTW is not far rightwing trumpism.
