Purveyor of Truth

September 17, 2016 By Taegan Goddard
Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates writing in the Wall Street Journal:
Mrs. Clinton has time before the election to address forthrightly her trustworthiness, to reassure people about her judgment, to demonstrate her willingness to stake out one or more positions on national security at odds with her party’s conventional wisdom, and to speak beyond generalities about how she would deal with China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, the Middle East—and international trade. Whether and how she addresses these issues will, I believe, affect how many people vote—including me.
At least on national security, I believe Mr. Trump is beyond repair. He is stubbornly uninformed about the world and how to lead our country and government, and temperamentally unsuited to lead our men and women in uniform. He is unqualified and unfit to be commander-in-chief.

Trump brushes off a former USAF officer, CIA director, two administration Defense Secretary as "part of the problem". If Trump wins, it is people like Gates that will have to pick up the pieces after Trump Is Impeached By Fellow Republicans...
ReplyDelete... Trump is impeached by fellow republicans...
ReplyDeleteNow THAT would be poetic justice.
And THAT would be truly historic! A legacy that Trump truly deserves. Go for it Donnie!
DeleteI would prefer a president Trump to a president Pence. As bad as Trump would be, Pence would be worse. As for Trump being impeached, according to an answer I read recently on Quora, "not only is this [Trump being impeached] a possible scenario… it is the only possible scenario, should Donald Trump get into office". I'm inclined to agree. A president Pence is the Right's dream POTUS. It's likely been discussed already in certain circles.
ReplyDeleteAnother conspiracy theory Dervish? Anything is possible in this world, as unlikely as it may be.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened to my link, but it doesn't appear to be present in my comment above. I wouldn't say it is a "conspiracy theory". Just a logical deduction. Hopefully we will never find out what might happen if Trump is "elected" president. LINK
