    The endless publicity-grabbing stunts by the T-GOP candidates may be funny to their followers, but they reinforce how ridiculous and out of touch they are. They are truly living up to their reputation as clowns.

      Which is why I've chosen to hammer the GOP field and will continue to do so. I find not much to get excited about and much to criticize on the lib and prog side but honestly believe sensible conservatives and small L libertarians need to clean up the mess from within.

    He is finding it difficult to grab headlines from Trump, wonder how long it takes to cook and how much it costs.
    I would think the progressives would rally behind trump and cruz because it takes away from the DNC chosen HRC who is being exposed as a liar and a fraud.

Independent Conservatism

I have, for many years, considered myself to be an independent conservative . Asked by some just what that means I would reply it implies I believe in the radical political views held by the founding fathers. Men of enlightened thinking who personified  "The Age of Reason." There have been many occasions I have been brought to task for pointing to the wisdom of  such giants as Washington, Jefferson, Paine, Franklin... the list could go on but for a lack of time. We have some Americans in our population who have difficulty speaking a coherent sentence. We have many who cannot construct a complete and proper sentence. Historic Decision Reversing Campaign Laws

The Supreme Court, in a five to four decision, on  this Thursday overturned a six decade old law designed to limit the influence of large corporations and unions on elections. The new ruling will allow for unlimited spending by both large business and unions in support of, or opposition to candidates for Congress and the presidency. The six decade old law essentially prohibited labor unions and companies from using monies from their general treasuries for the purpose of producing and running campaign ads. The reversal however leaves intact the prohibition on direct contributions from businesses and unions. The decision of the court also overturned the McCain/Feingold campaign finance bill which prohibited corporate and union funded issue ads in the final days of a campaign.
