Good news seems to keep coming our way. Most certainly for those of us who are the real Libertarian minded Patriots in the room. Ron Paul continues to close the gap in Iowa on Newtie the NeoCon who is losing support, with RINO Mittens Romney stagnated. Fabulous trend! Here's the latest report from Public Policy Polling.

There has been some major movement in the Republican Presidential race in Iowa over the last week, with what was a 9 point lead for Newt Gingrich now all the way down to a single point. Gingrich is at 22% to 21% for Paul with Mitt Romney at 16%... {Read More}


The favorable shift in the direction towards a limited constitutional government candidate who favors expanded individual liberties is accelerating folks. The champion of these principles is Ron Paul. It is time to work doubly hard in our efforts to help him secure the republican nomination to run against and unseat Barack Obama in 2012.

Trump is responsible for the extended shutdown, and, there is no end in sight. The president, on national tee vee , stated he would be proud to shut down the government and that he wouldn't blame Schumer and the democrats. Trump is playing to his base in what is nothing more than a cynical power play. As the shutdown drags on with no end in sight, and Americans in increasing numbers are directly impacted by Trump's shutdown decision, the heat on the president and his party will undoubtedly increase. Or, Trump could exercise his self described superior deal making acumen (something only Trump himself believes) and get back to the negotiating table and hammer out a win-win with the democrats. But his infantile stubbornness and disregard for the American people will prevent him from doing this. Massachusetts, with one of the nation's strictest firearm regulation laws is only slightly below the national average. Democrats as well as those with a college degree are less likely to own a firearm or have a family member who owns one than either Republicans or those with less education.
