There is a lot of discussion over political ideologies these days as well as the terms that define them. In our era of discontent and polarization it seems reasonable to revisit the founding principles of our constitutional republic. As a nation we have a choice, and it is clear. We either understand the principles our founding fathers knew would preserve our freedoms or we shall become just another oligarchy with a ruling class and a suppressed poulace. The following is an illustration of the preceding statement.

Forgive me if you disagree with my analysis but it really matters not which party is in power. The only demonstrable difference is the rapidity the nation will realize total and complete socialism/fascism. As Ayn Rand so accurately pointed out, and I paraphrase... When good compromises with evil good acquires a measure of evil and by this process evil is strengthened. Compromise On Unemployment Extension Refused By Dem's

By: Les Carpenter III Rational Nation USA Once again Congress is proving politics and gamesmanship is most important to them. Particularly the Democrats who have an ever growing propensity to pander to the emotions of the nation. Thereby pushing the envelope on the never ending growth of their beloved Leviathan. Congress is about to adjourn for the The Fourth of July recess without having passed a bill to extend underemployment benefits. While the Dem's have claimed the Republicans as unsympathetic to the plight of the long term unemployed they have rejected several compromise offers by the GOP that would gain it's support. Namely that at least a part of bill be paid for. Democrats are going to hold out and will use this as a political lie in a sad attempt to gain political ca;ital. He has assured FOX News that they will be covering it in "a very big fashion." He anticipates it will be released Wednesday. Presumably (IMNHO) to allow time for spin activity following tonight's debate. Right... Like the pompous blowhard that he is it is really all about the buildup of negative imagery and creating the perception of dastardly and apocalyptic consequences should America reelect President Obama.
