"Human Rights" as "Property Rights"

In this time of growing statism, particularly prevalent in the progressive (liberal) movement, the concept of property rights as the foundation of all human rights bears revisiting. Murray Rothbard states the case quite well in the following reading from chapter 15 of Rothbard's 1982 book "The Ethics of Liberty." 

Those who strive to understand the concepts of liberty, property rights, and the human rights that flow from the basis of property rights will find this audio reading most rewarding and valuable.

    It would be difficult to express it more clearly than Rothbard has. There really are no rights without property rights.

    This is a fundamental concept that has to be understood, so my latest post directs people to this post. I encourage everyone who sees this to link to it or otherwise direct people to it as well.

Just as some on the left are sounding the clarion call that ObamaCare is working in those states that have embraced it, such as New York and California to name two, polls are indicating that the overall national perception of ObamaCare is a net negative and even shows that some believe it should be repealed. My own view is that those favoring drastic overhaul or repeal have it about right. In the rush " to do something " We the People ended up with a flawed law being shoved down our throats.
