Obama A Partisan Democrat... So Much For Working Together

Barrack Hussein Obama was elected President on a platform of hopey changey feel good stuff. The kind of emotionalism the left thrives on. Like taking big business to task and redistributing wealth so everyone has a fair chance. The promise that Washington would be less partisan and therefor more effective in getting the peoples business done.

Well, eighteen months later we have seen very little of the promised bipartisanship and a lot of forcing the Obamanation's agenda down the throats of the people. For all the mushy talk the President has effected little change in the tone in Washington politics.

Why this should come as a surprise to anyone escapes me. For one Obama is a product of the Chicago democrat political machine, perhaps one of the most partisan and corrupt in the nation. Second is the fact that Obama is a true statist that believe government can and should solve all the countries problems. Hence the disastrous health care/insurance reform legislation, the take over of  private corporations (GM),  greater regulation of financial markets, cap and trade is coming to name a few. All this without achieving a true bipartisan consensus. Obama, like the true statist he is simply knows what is best and expects all to accept it or shut up.

The American people are beginning to realize that Obama really hasn't and isn't going to change the tone in Washington. A recent Rasmussen Report survey found that sixty one percent of likely voters believe the nations capital will become more partisan and not less so. With mid term elections approaching partisanship will be in full bloom.

The Rasmussen Survey found that fifty two percent of respondents believe Obama is governing as a partisan democrat and sixty one percent his party's majority under Pelosi and Reid leadership is governing congress in a partisan way.

All of this should come as no surprise as the campaign rhetoric from Barrack Obama the candidate gave us all a glimpse into the man who is now in charge. The good news is we have 2012 rapidly approaching and the opportunity to effect change that works and gives the people more control over their lives. In other words the opportunity to refute both  GWB and BHO's statism and gargantuan government growth policies.

  1. who do you propose would do a better job at running the country? Surely the past presidents from the land of republican-ism tells us they have no new ideas and no plans to better America. The current state of republican-ism is more of the same 'ole, same 'ole frankly dumb ideas. SO, we have a president today who is working harder then any I can recall and we need to stop criticizing and give a little helping hand. There are hundreds of pieces of legislation sitting and waiting for completion, those dead beats in Washington need to be voted out of their cushy jobs and replaced with hard workers like President Obama.

  2. 1) I agree there are far too few individuals of talent in the Republican party today. I see a few, mostly Libertarian leaning that actually represent true change. However the party will not let them succeed to any great degree.

    2) I find it to be interesting that you feel I should help and support the very ideology I have argued against for years. Can't just lie down and let the community organizer with Alinsky and
Soros beliefs have a free hand without resistance.

Bush screwed things up and Obama will continue to further screw things up IMO. They will likely go down in history as the twin failures along with Jimmy Carter.

But the world keeps turning, and those with strong beliefs will keep pressing on. I with the Randian perspective as it really is (not what Repubs pass it off as) and you with the FDR, LBJ, BHO perspective.

As it has always been and hopefully will continue to be.

Only with the true conservative, Libertarian perspective winning. ;-)
