Dan Mitchell of Cato Institute Discusses Tax Policy

I have never claimed to be a fan of Bill Clinton and still don't. But these days one almost has to wish he were back in charge, at least when looking at fiscal responsibility.

Please don't misunderstand my statement. I know Clinton was a centrist liberal and believed in the power of government to do good. Which of course is somewhat of a contradiction as government is merely playing Robin Hood as it steals from the productive members of society and  redistributes the loot to the less productive.

That aside any fiscal harm the Clinton Administration may have down was dwarfed by the fiscal damage George Bush did during his eight years and the current President is doing by continuation of much of Bush's policies.

The following video discussion by Dan Mitchel, Cato Institute Senior Fellow, is spot on and quite revealing. Take the seven plus minutes to listen to consider his points. You won't be disappointed you did.
