U.S. State Department Apologizes For Remarks in Response To Gaddafi's Call For Jihad

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi , the dirt bag President of Libya, was given an official apology from the U.S. State Department for comments made by P.J. Crowley, a State Department spokesperson. Comments made by Crowley were in response to Gaddafi's call for jihad against Switzerland. Apparently the remarks were considered to dismissive of the scum ball of Libya and thus our official apology.

Gaddafi's call for holy war against Switzerland was in response to a Swiss referendum last November to ban the construction of minarets on mosques. The call for jihad against a nation that has historically been one of the world's most peaceful nations deserves not only the condemnation of the United States but of the rest of the western world as well.

For the State Department to issue an official apology is as ludicrous as it is stupid. But given the apologist proclivity of our President it is easy to understand how this would be our position. Condemnation of Gaddafi's call for jihad does not amount to a call to arms. However, the U.S. State Department's apology for Crowley's remarks amount to acceptance of an evil that should be denounced by all rational governments.

Crowley's Clarification

"I regret that my comments have become an obstacle to further progress in our bilateral relationship,"
"I should have focused solely on our concern about the term jihad, which has since been clarified by the Libyan government,"
"I understand my personal comments were perceived as a personal attack on the president."
"These comments do not reflect US policy and were not intended to offend. I apologise if they were taken that way."


So, we are saying it is okay for the Libyan President (read dirt), to call for jihad against a peaceful nation for no other reason that it upset someone because minarets wont be constructed... but it not okay to call him out and condemn his call for jihad against Switzerland.

Is it just me or is there something really wrong with the apparent lack of principal in our State Department and our President?  This is just one person's opinion... but isn't about time we grew some balls?

    I'm sorry, but I don't understand. If we were promised total transparency in Congress by Obama, why do we have to vote the health care bill in to find out what's in it? Could this be yet another lie from Obama, Pelosi and Reid? This is becoming too much to comprehend. I mean I'm still trying to recover from the mental image of a naked Rahm Imanuel pointing his finger at Eric Massa, dressed in only a bath towel, and scolding him for not voting yes on the health care reform package. This whole administration is more than the human psyche can cope with. Now we truly do need change we can believe in, more than ever before, and the sooner we change the current administration for one that is honest and competent the better off we'll be.
    And we are supposed to believe what the lefties imbeciles are tell us about the healthcare bill? Are they that dumb to think we are going to buy a Pig in a poke?
    Blinky the clown Pelosi knows exactly what's in this bill.
    If she doesn't then she is even more stupid than I thought she is.
    She is a total embarrassment and disgrace to this country along with her corrupt cronies. As are the Lefties who go along with her and Obama!
