MCain On A Palin Bid in 2012

Senator John McCain, the liberal republican, has come out saying Sarah Palin is a sound possible contender for the 2012 Republican Party nomination. John McCain who is no conservative, nor any longer a maverick, at least  recognizes Sarah Palin is a viable cadidate and perhaps the proper candidate to carry  the mantle of maverick as the party regroups.

Sarah Palin is a relative neophyte to the national scene. She is however, not a neophyte to conservative thought or the values of individualism, free enterprise, self reliance, and love of country. The progressive (read socialist/statist) main stream media recognizing her sound message, as well as her ability to destroy their milk toast arguments did everything they could in 2009 to destroy her reputation. Thankfully in this they failed.

Whether Sarah Palin will be ready for 2012 remains to be seen. She is certainly smart enough, and if she decides to run will come to us understanding  all the values and virtues that made America great. Sarah also understands the values of the current administation is in stark contrast to the values that built this nation and made it strong. She understands the values of the socialist/statist Obama administration will very likely be the end of liberty as Americans have known it for 233 years.

Will Rational Nation USA support Sarah Palin should see choose to run in 2012? Perhaps. It will depend entirely on whether a stronger conservative or Libertarian candidate emerges. Mitt Romney would certainly be a strong candidate, but unfortunatly his business links may hurt him.

The argument Sara Palin receiving the Republican nomination in 2012 would result in a disastrous loss is premature. This analysis assumes President Obama, and his socialist/statist agenda is successful. Not only is this uncertain it is likely the opposite will be true. One only need look at history, and Jimmy Carter's failed presidency, to know the odds may very well be in Sarah Palins's favor.

  1. I am still not sure if she is the answer? Lets face the Republican party has not given us a real candidate since 1984. She does have a lot of potential.

  2. Yes she has a great deal of potential.

If she matures as a candidate on the national scene, and does not compromise her core principals and beliefs she could do very well.

Particularity so after Obama finishes his efforts at turning us into a socialist state.
