Jimmy Carter on Racism

Former President Carter has went public and declared that Joe Wilson's outburst during the President Obama's address to the joint session of Congress was racially motivated. Further he maintains that certain signage displayed by those marching on Washington, as well as resistance to the Obamanation health care plan and other dissent against his policies is also racism..

Mr. Carter has once again demonstrated that he has the most flawed and illogical thought process of any former president. His comments are something one would expect from perhaps Cuba's Castro, Venezuela's Chaves, or perhaps even Britain's Brown. But from a former United States President? Appalling.

Carter has in this man's judgment done more to fuel racial tensions than any recent former politician. Shame on you Mr. President. If I didn't know otherwise I would think you are becoming senile.

The following video's were pulled off You Tube early this morning.

How this ex leader believes that honest and legitimate concerns with ideology and or policy of President Obama is remotely racial in nature insults the intelligence of reasonable and rational thinking people. The socialist/statist  bias in these government media complex video's show  nakedly through.  And that my fellow non racial conservatives is what is perhaps most troubling.

  1. Finally, someone in a position of national repute has come out and said what millions of Americans have been thinking for months. This is certainly an issue that needs to be discussed on the national stage, like the videos that you posted suggest. Its not hard to offer hundreds of examples of overt racism that have been directed at President Obama and his administration since he first took office. Opening our eyes to see these things isn't always easy, and sometimes it hurts...but it must be done to progress as a nation.

Watch the videos that are posted in this email...they offer much support to Carter and statement.

  2. I believe, as I said clearly in my post, the issues are the issue. Not race. I find it unfortunate that the playing of the race card when there are honest and significant differences in philosophy of government comes so easily for the left.

As to Carter's repute. Let's leave it at I was a young man when good ole president Jimmy botched everything he touched. So much for repute.

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on altruism as the foundation of all socialist, fascist, and communist nations. Which we are rapidly heading towards and drivel like Mr. Carter's only hastens the descent into hell.

  3. I agree. The issues are the issues, and one of the most important issues right now is racism and intolerance. I'm confused at how President Carter's comments can be perceived as hastening our descent into hell. I take these comments as a healthy challenge to all Americans to step back and examine, through a reasoned and rational lens, how much or how little we have actually dealt with issues of racism in our society.

The way Wilson handled himself on the evening that he made the comments that will define his carer is not the behavior of a respected politician. He was in no way adding to the conversation or pointing out "honest and significant differences in philosophy of government". He was acting like a spoiled child who chose to voice his opinion in the most arrogant way imaginable. "Hey, everybody...look at meeeeee! I'm on T.V!!!!" How 'bout a little civility, Mr. Wilson? Is Wilson a racist? Maybe, maybe not. Is he an imbecile who should be spanked on the fanny by his Mama for acting like a spoiled child at a joint session of congress? Absolutely.

  4. Actually a point I find myself agreeing with concerning Joe Wilson.

I agree Obama does lie and in fact was doing so in his speech. Obama had no problem referring to those who civilly disagree with him liars so I guess we have a double standard here.

Having said that Mr. Wilson acted less less than professional. A joint session of Congress nationally televised is not the appropriate place to display raw emotion even when founded in fact.

Rationally however if your issue is Wilson is a racist for calling the Obamanation a liar then it would reasonably follow that the Obamanation is also racist for referring to millions as liars. Some I am sure are black, Asian, European, Middle Eastern etc.,.......... Americans all.

The issues are this President, and I use the term loosely, is overseeing the most fundamentally radical change since the American Revolution. That change is diameyrically opposed to the principals of the American Revolution.

Emotionalism of the cool aid brew to the rational and steady principals embodied in our Declaration of Independence our Constitutiion. It is unfortunate we have a man in the White House who understands neither. There are many black men and women who are ultimately more qualified to sit in the Oval office. Any of whom I could support with ease should they choose to run.

Just one man's voice whom the socialist/statist government will not silence. No matter which statist sits in the oval office and no matter what his/her race.
