Trump’s stunning lack of historical perspective, his obvious soft spot for white nationalism and the white supremacy movement is unprecedented. No former president of the modern era has ever filled the sails of the white nationalist and white supremacist ideology and movement as Trump has done. Disgraceful at best, evil and dangerous at its worst. Trump deserves condemnation by all ethical and moral people, conservatives, moderates, progressives, democrats, republicans, democratic socialists, religious and non-religious folks alike. Washington (CNN) - Support is gathering behind a bipartisan push to protect special counsel Robert Mueller from potentially being fired by President Donald Trump. Sen. Thom Tillis, a North Carolina Republican, and Sen. Chris Coons, a Delaware Democrat, plan to introduce a measure Thursday that would bar the President from directly firing any special counsel -- retroactive to Mueller's appointment in May. "The President would maintain the power to remove the special counsel, but we would just want to make sure that it had merit and have that back-end judicial process," Tillis said Thursday morning on CNN's "Newsroom." "And if there is a termination, we just want to make sure, through judicial review, that it was warranted," he added. The measure would also effectively shut down another avenue for firing Mueller -- mandating that only an attorney general confirmed by the Senate would have the power to remove the special counsel. It's not because there are no issues worth expounding on, rather it is because of the chaotic and dysfunctional state of out federal government. The representatives of the PEOPLE of this nation and the POTUS have created and continue to pursue a winner take all strategy. In other words they have created the perpetual  zero sum game . We are, have been, and will likely continue to be in a constant state of internal conflict. Call us wimpy if you like, but, too much time spent analyzing and contemplating what we consider to be absurdity is all together too time consuming, unproductive, and ultimately frustrating. Put another way it's too damn taxing. There are simply better and more important things to do. Compromise that leads to a bill that supports the American people by giving them all a healthcare system that is superior to what they have now and can afford is the responsibility of those serving the public. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness can only be had if one is healthy. So... get serious, get started, and move the healthcare system of the nation forward rather than backwards.

Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth Americans Now Evenly Divided on Impeaching Trump PPP's new national poll finds that Donald Trump's popularity as President has declined precipitously just over the last two weeks. On our first poll of his Presidency voters were evenly divided on Trump, with 44% approving of him and 44% also disapproving. Now his approval rating is 43%, while his disapproval has gone all the way up to 53%. If voters could choose they'd rather have both Barack Obama (52/44) or Hillary Clinton (49/45) instead of Trump. Just three weeks into his administration, voters are already evenly divided on the issue of impeaching Trump with 46% in favor and 46% opposed. Support for impeaching Trump has crept up from 35% 2 weeks ago, to 40% last week, to its 46% standing this week.
