We are presently rebuilding Rational Nation USA WordPress site. It has a new look, one we think best reflects who we  are. it also has a new feel, one we hope will enhance your browsing enjoyment.

We may occasionally visit this old Blogger site from time to time. We might even post a quickie every so often just to remind why we decided to leave Blogger for greener pastures on WordPress in the first place.

    Is this "rebuilding" why I can't get to it? Error message says "This page isn’t working. rationalnationusa.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500".

    I'm satisfied with Blogger, BTW. What can you do on WordPress that you can't do on Blogger?

      Thanks Dave. The site is no longer the free site plan. Has many options. I'm still tweaking and will be from time to time. BUT, the site is up and running. Use the new here link on this this post to go there.

    I've written dozens of times that Trump has no core values or policies, for that matter. He's for whatever sounds good at the moment. It's presidenting by impulse and not deliberation, which is mind-numbingly insane, considering the kind of power Trump has in his little hands.

    Trump was emphatic while campaigning to put America FIRST! And not be distracted by wars in the M.E. His first test? He does completely the opposite of what he promised and what he incessantly criticized President Obama about when Mr. Obama asked Congress for authorization to bomb limited targets in Syria.

    Trump is a maniac and a danger to not just us, but the world.

The longer it grinds on the more it look like a bunch of misfit radicals looking for the free ride. However, on the other hand there are certainly those who have a clear vision as to what and why Wall Street needs to change. The reasonable people supporting OWS are doing so to end crony capitalism, corporatism, the unethical practices of banking executives and mortgage lenders, as well as government bailouts of businesses. They also recognize corporate lobbyist must become a extinct group. That is to say they have a purpose and an agenda which the supporters of the cause believe will make their society a better place to live. History has shown that societies with the most intrusive and leviathan governments are the least effective and restrict the liberties of individuals too the greatest degree. The classical liberals, whose philosophy of governance was anchored in the  Enlightenment  and The Age of Reason , believed in maximum liberty for the individual. They were wary of government, believing it was as much a force for evil as good. Classical Liberalism was about the individual, the rights of the individual, and the belief that the individual was not a vassal of the state, but rather should be the master of the state, limiting it's interference in the lives of the people.
