As you've no doubt noticed we haven't posted regularly for some time. It's not because there are no issues worth expounding on, rather it is because of the chaotic and dysfunctional state of out federal government. The representatives of the PEOPLE of this nation and the POTUS have created and continue to pursue a winner take all strategy. In other words they have created the perpetual  zero sum game . We are, have been, and will likely continue to be in a constant state of internal conflict. Call us wimpy if you like, but, too much time spent analyzing and contemplating what we consider to be absurdity is all together too time consuming, unproductive, and ultimately frustrating. Put another way it's too damn taxing. There are simply better and more important things to do. Life and its numerous joys are much more important than spending time in constant unchanging loop of absurd nonsense. We will not say, both sides do it or, both sides are equally responsible  ...

Compromise that leads to a bill that supports the American people by giving them all a healthcare system that is superior to what they have now and can afford is the responsibility of those serving the public. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness can only be had if one is healthy. So... get serious, get started, and move the healthcare system of the nation forward rather than backwards.

Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth Americans Now Evenly Divided on Impeaching Trump PPP's new national poll finds that Donald Trump's popularity as President has declined precipitously just over the last two weeks. On our first poll of his Presidency voters were evenly divided on Trump, with 44% approving of him and 44% also disapproving. Now his approval rating is 43%, while his disapproval has gone all the way up to 53%. If voters could choose they'd rather have both Barack Obama (52/44) or Hillary Clinton (49/45) instead of Trump. Just three weeks into his administration, voters are already evenly divided on the issue of impeaching Trump with 46% in favor and 46% opposed. Support for impeaching Trump has crept up from 35% 2 weeks ago, to 40% last week, to its 46% standing this week. Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth Chris Cuomo has it exactly right. Although his words were much to polite in describing the constant allegations of "fake news" trump uses in his attempt to delegitimize journalists and news organizations that disagree with his agenda and policies. While this site absolutely agrees that the Office of the President is always deserving of respect the present occupant of the Office of the President  is deserving of little to no respect whatsoever . Republicans have finally succeeded in dumbing down America enough that it is willing to accept that down is up and up is down. That faith is science and science is conjecture.
