A Farewell From The Right...

Skipping around the internet this day I happened to find this farewell poem to the First Family. I found it amusing and a bit perplexing. Maybe it's just me. Anyway here it is for your enjoyment.

  
For all the quips and jibes and taunts
And brutal castigation
This First Family's image haunts,
And begs new valuation.

Both elegant and wholesome 
This group radiates great charm
We should feel proud 
they reached a goal some 
Tell us did no harm.

Their image, lean and lissome, 
Does great credit to their race.
To know them might be bliss. Some
Might wish to kiss each face.

The father’s been a failure
Many say with unchecked bile.
Rated as the Holy Grail your 
Welfare class adored his style.

Conservatives despised him
And insisted he must fail,
While the the Left who idolized him,
Thinks the Right belongs in jail. 

And so we’re now divided
Many saying we’re at war
With those we have derided
Thus forgetting what Life’s for.

Although his leftist stance
Has been essentially perverse
We should not want to dance
Upon his grave. That make things worse 

By deepening the chasm 
That now between us yawns
We kill enthusiasm
Thus darkening all our dawns.

So please try to remember
Barrack with charity;
His legacy’s an ember
Now. Let’s pray Trump sets us free.

President Obama is, I believe, going to come to be missed in the VERY near future. By many. Including his detractors.

    And remind a little of the old Burma Shave signs along the highway.
    Obama served two terms
    a presidential feat
    we miss his thoughtful work

    That was written by someone who, for the last eight years, maligned President Obama with the worst possible epithets and slanders. Now he's all sweetness and light about the Obamas? Typical hypocritical right winger. The Obamas were representative of all that is good and wholesome and what people admire in a family. Trump is exactly the opposite with his serial infidelities and boasts about screwing other women while married, not to mention his pride in sexually assaulting them. Trump is a pig where his relations with women are concerned, yet the man who wrote that doggerel about Obama is deliberately blind to Trump. There is no reasoning with people that far removed from moral decency. Let them publish their Bible passages every Sunday as their "faith" blogs. I've seen better religious faith and constancy in winos in the street than are found on those blogs. They've become the laughing stock of people who take their religion seriously and not as something to put on as a fake decoration.

The longer it grinds on the more it look like a bunch of misfit radicals looking for the free ride. However, on the other hand there are certainly those who have a clear vision as to what and why Wall Street needs to change. The reasonable people supporting OWS are doing so to end crony capitalism, corporatism, the unethical practices of banking executives and mortgage lenders, as well as government bailouts of businesses. They also recognize corporate lobbyist must become a extinct group.
