Trump Avoids Networks Who Ask Hardball Questions...

Rational Nation USA
Purveyor of Truth

Donald J. Trump has never been a candidate of any real depth. He has failed to convinced Americans that take the time to check the veracity of his statements and claims that he an honest and trustworthy man. He has failed to show leadership qualities that make for a successful presidency. His often rambling and sometimes incoherent utterances are an extreme embarrassment to America, other countries do pay attention to American politics, especially presidential races. America being the mot powerful nation in the world and all that.

Donald J. Trump has shown time and again the thinness of his Trumpian skin. And now, according to The Huffington Post, Mr. Trump is shunning all networks but FOX News, which is no real surprise. FOX, and its line up of Trump cozily supportive "journalist" commentators, provide him the soft ball questions that feed into his narrative and give him cover from the serious scrutiny Americans deserve.

This is not the America of your grandparents and great grandparents, a time in America where journalists had actual integrity and politicians were concerned about the nation, and most important, the constitution as well as the people they were elected to serve. Today a reality show host and real estate developer who bilked 40 million from people can secure a major political party nomination and certain "journalists" and a certain network (mentioned above) run interference for him.

Only in 21st century America.

  1. Somewhat related to the FauxNoos spinmeisters and their sycophants, we note the rabid internet commenters who have driven political discussion to new lows.

    1. BB, back when I first started blogging, I was attacked by bloggers who identified as "Right Wing". They were vicious and many were Puppet Masters, with many, many puppets. The hate on the internet is no surprise to me. It's easy to spew disgusting things and hate on people when you're safe behind your computer screen (or phone) and no one knows who you are or where to find you.

  2. Indeed BB Idaho. They are the very demographics and mentality Trump appeals to and has cultivated as his core supporters and advocates.

  3. RN, Trump hasn't gotten any "tough" questions from anyone on Fox News. He's on a lot in the mornings (when I'm getting ready for work) and they practically worship him. I just shake my head...wth?? I don't care who's running, tough questions should be asked of all presidential candidates. Period.

I'm not looking forward to the debate between Hillary and Trump. I can only imagine he'll call her names the whole time.

    1. Pamela,

Maybe you should give CBS a try. Or perhaps "Good Morning America" on ABC. I don't really know anything about what is happening today. I just swore I would never watch NBC again after they aired the video created by the Virginia Tech killer. I stopped watching television more or less completely about seven and a half years ago.

If you really do start every day with FOX, it is little wonder that you feel the way you do about Hillary. Plus, doesn't it put you in a bad mood to see Trump so early in the day? Yee-wooh...

    2. I watch CNN, ABC, NBC, MSMBC, and FAUX (the least informative actually unless one likes lots of spin), and local news. Frankly I find reading a variety of news articles (long for journalism) to be most informative ad with the least bias. I'm talking major publications, not Brietfart or other rightwing or leftwing spin machines.

I prefer watching Trump in the evening after a couple craft brews. He's easer to take and yet I still get to have reinforced the knowledge that he is an uninformed a** and demagogue, among his other many shortcomings..
