In a land that was founded on the principles of freedom,liberty, and equality it is incomprehensible to any thinking person that the proceeding mentality could exist in the United States of America in the 21st.

    I'm sorry to say that kind of thinking still does exist. However, I think it's restricted to small areas of this country and is NOT the prevailing mentality. At least I hope so.

      I'd like to think so Shaw. I'm not too sure however. Racism,and reverse racism exists in more places than just small areas of the country, IMO.

      Yes Ducky, this is true. And therein lies the ultimate force for hopefully eventual extinction of bigotry and racism in the country. It won't happen in my lifetime I'm sure. If ever.

When the story first broke this classical liberal with libertarian leanings accepted, based on the early news reports, that George Zimmerman as guilty of a horrendous and unforgivable crime. However,as more information surfaced I began to question the veracity of the liberal contention that Zimmerman had in reality committed an act of first degree murder (my initial conclusion). Given time, and the proper reflection after new information (and opinions based on this information) surfaced it seemed, at least to this writer anyway, to step back and chill just a bit. After spending a fair amount of time on left,  or perhaps they would prefer the tag progressive leaning  blogs, reading the constant belittling, name calling, insulting and often vulgar characterizations of almost  anything they disagree with, which of course is everything conservative , I am not surprised to learn of a Anti Tea Party movement. Before going any further however I must be fair and balanced.
