His economic policies, analyzed by Moody, paints a not so rosy picture. At the very least Mr. Trump needs to explain in depth what his policies would be, demonstrate why they would be successful and how Moody's analysis is incorrect. Moody's Analytics - Presidential candidates often put forward proposals that are as much political statements as firm policy positions. (Wikimedia Commons/ Angr) This site is not a supporter of the mechanisms of ObamaCare and questions whether it in fact will ultimately make health care either more accessible r affordable. Except for those receiving a subsidy or are getting it free. All that aside I do agree with following Moyers & Company article stating that ObamaCare is widening the gap between red America and blue America. Something needed to be done with our health care and insurance system. Most agree that the pre ObamaCare system needed some work. Unfortunately reason failed American politics and what we have achieved is an ever more polorized country with no end to the polarization. (credit: Douglas Healey/Getty Images) Today, in Newtown Connecticut an act of unspeakable violence against innocent children occurred. As unfathomable as this act was it occured. As I sat numbed by the realization such a grotesque and deranged act could actually occur, I could not help but to contemplate what it is that would drive a 20 year old individual to commit such a heinous crime against innocent children. Having a 4 year old grandson and a 1 and a 1/2 year old old granddaughter the events of today hit very close to home. My heart, as well as that of Mrs. Rational Nation goes out to the parents and families who lost loved ones in today's tragic shooting. Kansas SoCons Continue Efforts To Insure Denial Of Rights To Same Sex Couples...

Kansas, with a republican dominated house just passed House Bill 2453 that would " explicitly protects religious individuals, groups and businesses that refuse services to same-sex couples, particularly those looking to tie the knot." The bill passed the House on a 72 to 49 vote and now goes to the senate were it likely will pass. Excerpts from CNN U.S. Denying services to same-sex couples may soon become legal in Kansas.
