Obama is Muslim... According to Plurality of Alabama and Mississippi Voters

Liberty -vs- Tyranny

With our nation drowning in a vast sea of read ink, an administration that continues to push for more dependency on the federal bureaucracy {aka Leviathan}, increasing federal regulations, a manufacturing infrastructures that continues in decline -- especially heavy industry, and the slow erosion of individual liberties just to name a few issues of consequence, I can not help but shake my head and snicker when I see reports like the following.

New York - It has been a while since the question of President Obama's religion -- his true religion, maybe the religion he or his "church" don't want you to know about -- has been on the national agenda. And the upcoming Alabama and Mississippi primaries are an opportune time to raise it, since Republicans from Alabama and Mississippi are a discerning bunch and especially apt to see through the president's tissue of lies.

The poll also finds that two-thirds of the Republicans in both states do not believe in evolution. Two-thirds of Alabama Republicans also believe interracial marriage ought to be legal, compared with 54% of Mississippi Republicans. Progress!{Read Entire Article}

Just maybe this helps explain why the country is in such a sad state of affairs. Some folks just seem to be more concerned with frivolous issues or unfounded fears than the things that really matter or make a difference.

  1. Well, lets get your facts straight too. For instance, the Obama administration has not increased federal regulations any more than any other modern administration. In fact, it's been a little less. As for heavy industry, regulations are down, and as for "personal" liberty, the Obama administration has been quite laizzez faire - especially when compared to the House GOP.

    2. I get it, Les. Really. I do. Obama is a mainstream, status quo politician. I was saying that long before he was President. That's why I always cringe and shutter with pity at the right-wing's ridiculous assertions about the man. He is your run of the mill brilliant young law student come big shot in American politics. Blah, blah, blah.

      I'd still take him over any of the "statists" on the right! At least he wouldn't be insane and completely adhere to Voo Doo economics, as modern conservatives want to forever repeat. That's the definition of insane, ya' know.

      Only one GOP runner is different, but unfortunately, the great Ron Paul, and I may add Dennis Kucinich and Barney Frank, is among the last of his kind. We've moved on to a new, dumber generation. It's unfortunate.

      We have to argue realistically and educationally. We have to get the kids thinking. Draw them in with the hot button issues, then move on to the cruxes. We can't just focus on the hot button nonsense, lest we be enabling the stupidification. We need to elevate the debate.

  2. Mississippi and Alabama, two of the country's poorest states, and two states that are among the country's highest in high school dropout rate.

    High school graduation rates vary by region.

    On average, states in the Northeast United States and Midwest had higher graduation rates in 2008 than states in the South and the West. The Midwestern states had the highest average graduation rate – an average of 82 percent of high school freshmen in 2004 went on to graduate high school within four years in 2008. In the South, where graduation rates are lowest, only 72 percent of high school freshmen in 2004 graduated within four years in 2008. All but one of the 10 states with the lowest graduation rates were in the South or the West, while all 10 of the states with the highest graduation rates were located in the Northeast or Midwest.

    There has to be a connection between the low percentage of high school graduates in the south and the high percentage of people who believe Mr. Obama is a Muslim or any other stupid lies being fed to the non-critical thinking populations there.

    1. It certainly seems reasonable to believe there may be a direct relationship between the two data points.

  3. Actually, Mr. McJones, President Obama wrote only 5 fewer rules but cost businesses more.

    Obama’s White House approved 613 federal rules during the first 33 months of his term, 4.7 percent fewer than the 643 cleared by President George W. Bush’s administration in the same time frame, according to an Office of Management and Budget statistical database reviewed by Bloomberg.

    The number of significant federal rules, defined as those costing more than $100 million, has gone up under Obama, with 129 approved so far, compared with 90 for Bush, 115 for President Bill Clinton and 127 for the first President Bush over the same period in their first terms. In part that’s because $100 million in past years was worth more than it is now due to inflation.
