Too Many Sheets to the Wind

I have an idea, folks. Let's compare the Tea Party to a uniform group of nasty, racist, redneck 1960s Southerners; a group, mind you, whose ENTIRE purpose in life was to subjugate and perpetrate violence on African-Americans. Yeah, that's the ticket!...............................................................................................Seriously, though, my colleagues, don't you think that maybe, JUST MAYBE, some of "this" has gone a little bit TOO far? I mean, don't get me wrong here. I'm not exactly a big fan of the Tea Party, either (I probably disagree with 80-90% of what they espouse - or at the very least my interpretation of it). But, come on! Do we really have to start heaving around the most vile analogies and stereotypes humanly possible? The way that I see it here, if it's wrong for this Herman Cain numbnuts to go around saying that a lot of black people have been "brainwashed", then it's also wrong for these so-called progressive "thinkers" to compare the Tea Party, COLLECTIVELY, to the erstwhile Ku Klux Klan....No?

    A lot of blacks HAVE been brainwashed. For instance, Herman Cain thought it was okay to make a racist deal out of some trouble-maker turning over a rock that said "niggerhead."

It is special in that it features a relatively new, yet up and coming spokesperson for the progressive minded in blogistan general. There are too few words to describe the potential impact this canine lover could have on the progressive movement. As I said there are too few words to describe this gentleman of the left. Lets Talk About Fascism...

Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth Fascism is typically viewed as a leftist political and economic system. This is true if leftist is to mean a strong central government with great influence on and regulation over a nation's economic maters. In other words private ownership of business exists but the government essentially establishes economic policy through over burdensome regulations. Ayn Rand and Dr. Leonard Peikoff shared a different view. Both view conservatives and republicans as drivers of our politics and government in the direction towards fascism. While conservatives and republicans typically may not push for as much regulation over the business sector they too have in the past and continue to so so today.
