It's Wednesday... Off To The Casinos

Think I will take Wednesday off. The bride and I have been itching to visit the casinos and today seems as good a day as any to do so. Especially in light of the rather slow news week thus far. Or maybe it's just Casey Anthony and Debt Limit burnout. Whatever, I won't be posting today. Well, at least I don't intend to. Back Thursday, at least I hope to be.

    Les, while my favorite Miles Davis stuff tends to come from the 60s (the quintet with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, and Ron Carter), I can always dig some of his earlier work, too; "Kind of Blue" and this fine effort (I love the way that he takes an almost overly familiar piece of material and make it seem new), especially. A nice break from the politics, my man.

    Will - I agree on all counts. Indeed, indeed, indeed! Listening to these gives me many fond memories. Mkes me want to pick up my Trumpet and se if I still have it.

    Man I miss the days was playing. Sometime I tell ya the story behind that one.

Then he made the following remarks that IMNHO told the nation in full agenda with respect to said issue. Having a in depth discussion of race relations might very well be appropriate and a general discussion is something that MOST American's would welcome. Using the Zimmerman verdict ks simply the WRONG event at possibly the right time. However, don't expect the President, the Department of Justice, or the liberal media or ultra liberal populace to understand what this means.
