Perhaps a few will consider the content and revisit our founding charter, the Constitution of the United States of America.

It is long past due.
This situation was created by congresses and courts, over the years, who lacked the political spines to put a stop to the executive war machine. And it was created by idiot voters, jingos and reactionaries, who beleieved all that ridiculous military was necessary.

ReplyDeleteRight... and Wilson, FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton, just to name a few progressive presidents, had no problem using that which the congress and the courts gave them.
Enough to go around? You think...
In fact they advocated for more war power. Especially the progressive of all progressives, The Great Society Wonder Lyndon Johnson.
