In Mr. Maher's Own Words

1) "I've said it many times. If Muslim men could get laid more, we we wouldn't have this problem There's probably no suicide bomber who, after he died, people said, 'You know, that guy, he blew himself up, but boy - he got laid a lot.'".............2) "All this talk about the people who burned the Koran and nothing about the people who reacted in such a STUPID (my emphasis) way. We're always blaming the victim and not holding, not most Muslims, but at least a large part of the Muslim community that doesn't condemn their people. What it comes down to is that there is ONE (again, my emphasis) religion in the world that kills you when you disagree with them. They say, 'Look, we're a religion of peace and if you disagree we'll cut your effing (sanitized) head off.' And nobody calls them on it, or there are very few people who call them on it."........................................................................................................I may be wrong here, folks, but, in my opinion, if a conservative had made these comments (the second of which, yes, I basically agree with), people like Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz would be going apoplectic. BUT, because it was Bill Maher who said them - NOTHING! So much frigging so for sound principled commentary, huh?

We have some Americans in our population who have difficulty speaking a coherent sentence. We have many who cannot construct a complete and proper sentence. Yet we find the time and the money to educate youth in Arabic and Arabic culture. Mind you this is a Federal Grant program and limited to only five select school districts. At least for now. At a cost of 1.3 millions dollars students on these select district will be required,  you heard {read} right, required as mandatory part of their curriculum to learn Arabic. Public Policy Polling - PPP's newest look at the Republican field for 2016 finds some big changes from our previous polling. Marco Rubio, who had led all of our polling since December, has dropped all the way to 6th place. Rand Paul now has the lead nationally, to go along with the leads he posted in our most recent Iowa and New Hampshire polls. And Ted Cruz has already hit double digits. The numbers are: Paul 16, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, and Paul Ryan each at 13, Cruz at 12, Rubio at 10, Rick Santorum and Bobby Jindal at 4, and Susana Martinez at 2. The ritual cutting of girls' genitals is practised by some African, Middle Eastern and Asian communities in the belief it prepares them for adulthood or marriage. FGM poses many health risks to women, including severe bleeding, problems urinating, infections, infertility and increased risk of newborn deaths in childbirth. The UN General Assembly approved a resolution in December 2012 calling for all member states to ban the practice. Christians fled Earlier, Ms Badcock warned that the alleged Isis edict could affect nearly four million women and girls in and around the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. I am quite pleased today. I had determined some time back, when California's Prop 8 again placed the issue of same sex marriage forefront on the American stage of morality, to pen an article on the issue. The article was to be a view from an independent conservative. I decided after several hours of work to submit it to The Daily Caller. Yesterday afternoon they notified me they were publishing my op-ed article. Perhaps it is just me, but somehow giving the government this level of control over ones life means giving up (your)individual control and acknowledging that others, in this case the Leviathan bureaucracy knows better what is good for you (and your family) than you do. Somehow, and for good cause (IMNHO) this has always bothered the hell out of me.
