During These Bleak Days

Remembering does not change the present reality. Nor does it serve to effect change to the current sad course of America's, or the World's course. This American LEADER accomplished that during the decade of the eighties.

My hope is that in viewing this moving tribute it will inspire us to regain a sense of optimism,  and belief that America is in fact the greatest nation on earth. It is time we stopped apologizing for our greatness and exceptional-ism. It is time we stand tall and become that beacon of light, liberty, and prosperity once again. Unapologetically.

Current Mr. POTUS, please take note.

Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth Tonight is open thread comment night here at Rational Nation USA with respect to the SOTU address. On the heels of the President's SOTU address last night, one in which the President laid out his progressive agenda for the remainder of his presidency, there is much for the advocates and the naysayers to "crow" about or "bitch" about. In this writer's view the speech was superbly delivered with some interesting ideas yet substance with respect to just how the nation is to pay for his aggressive progressive agenda was in short supply. In fairness to the President such is almost always the case. His "way out in left field" claim that President Obama's administration has Muslim Brotherhood members is, IMNHO opinion based on one of two things.
