During These Bleak Days

Remembering does not change the present reality. Nor does it serve to effect change to the current sad course of America's, or the World's course. This American LEADER accomplished that during the decade of the eighties.

My hope is that in viewing this moving tribute it will inspire us to regain a sense of optimism,  and belief that America is in fact the greatest nation on earth. It is time we stopped apologizing for our greatness and exceptional-ism. It is time we stand tall and become that beacon of light, liberty, and prosperity once again. Unapologetically.

Current Mr. POTUS, please take note.

By: WILL " TAKE NO PRISONERS " HART I quite resent this notion that the American people are somehow a greedy lot, and that they're only concerned about themselves. It certainly doesn't mesh with the world that I see and it doesn't mesh the data, either. According to the Charitable Aid Foundation, the United States is THE most generous country on the planet (65% of its citizens donate money, 43% donate personal time, and 73% help out strangers). And to think that this type of charity would somehow shrink up if in fact the government did decide to cut back a little is both ridiculous AND insulting..............................................................................................I also deeply resent the demonization of wealth and achievement in this society. Obama's lead is within the margin of error. Understanding polls are at best statistical indicators of public sentiment, and they can be manipulated through the process of weighting, I do not place an abundance of faith in polls. I decided to post these results mostly as a realistic reminder to the euphoria the left seems to be enjoying at the present moment. Polls by ABC News/Washington Post, Politico/George Washington University, and American Research Group indicate a tight race as well. CNN has averaged the results of all four polls as well as a Fox News poll of last week and the results show Obama at 49% and Romney at 46%, again within the margin of error.
