Sir Paul McCartney The Uncouth

Now we have a member of the British elite, Sir Paul McCartney of Beatles fame, showing his rather unpolished demeanor. The rather undereducated British individual from Liverpool England couldn't resist the opportunity to disrespect George W. Bush when accepting the Gershwin Prize for Popular Songs. Here is what the micro brain had to say: "“After the last eight years, it’s great to have a President who knows what a library is,”.

The video of his tasteless quip:

Sir Paul McCartney was obviously doing two things; 1) inferring our prior President was uneducated, and 2) pandering to the audience (particularly to Obama) who was liberal in nature.

The  sad part of this is a man who generally engenders respect, showed himself in this instance to be all to commonplace and lacking in proper diplomatic etiquette.

Apparently he did not realize that President Bush earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration or that Mrs. Bush was a Librarian. Go figure.

  1. Couldn't have said it any better myself. Or maybe I can.

In any event, Sir Paul calling Bush a moron (or words to that effect) is like Michael Moore calling Twiggy fat.

  2. ha ha ha ha! Paul McCartney's statement is uncouth but Obama is the illegitimate son of Malcolm X, who was born in Rhodesia and hates America and freedom isn't. Hypocrisy is woven into the fabric of conservatives souls...

I welcome some factual evidence this is ow conservatives think.

  5. >be real and specific

That's antithetical to the entire leftist movement, though.

It also probably means that you're a racist, or something. :)
