Mr.Walker, President and CEO Peter G.Peterson Foundation makes many points covering a broad scope of issues. Not everyone will agree in total, however American politicians as well as all citizens need to hear the message and begin taking credible action to reverse our current course. Which as we all know id self defeating and destructive.

Nick Gillespie's interview of David Walker took place was part of Reason Weekend, an annual conference held by Reason Foundation. This years conference took place April 15 - 18 in New Orleans.

The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%. During my meandering through the site I came across a interesting comment post. The comment was posted in 2011 by EmperorNero . All socialist countries are poor, and all poor countries are, or have until recently been, socialist. All rich countries are capitalist, and all capitalist countries are rich. I would be interested in some counterexamples or arguments against this rule. It seems to hold true as long as we are clear what we mean by " socialism ". Apparently it is quite another to actually pay them, at least for Bill and Hillary. They are taking full advantage of financial strategies that benefit the top 1 percent of the nation. You know, those individuals that liberals love to hate. Well, when it seems politically expedient to do so. Don't get me wrong, personally the death tax rubs me the wrong. But really, wouldn't it make sense for those advocating hefty estate taxes to at least opt out of the very benefits you have politically and publicly been against? Following a very enjoyable luncheon with none other than my ever engaging and intuitive as well as highly intelligent better half I came home to find Karl Rove's report on his 2013 predictions. A real treat if 1)you're a republican or 2) you happen to be in the mood for a chuckle. Something the "White Chalk Board Man" never fails to provide. Mr. Rove, the dude that has successfully built and or maintained the current GOP box the faithful find themselves locked into gave a brief but informative who-ah for himself on 2013 and as well as his 2014 predictions.
